Good to know before you subscribe: we're an independent seller, so the Tribune handles your account once you've ordered. Here's how its vacation holds, cancellation and renewals work, summarized from the Tribune's help center and its subscriber terms (revision date July 1, 2026). The terms you accept at checkout are the ones that apply.
You can suspend delivery while you're away at myaccount.chicagotribune.com. The Tribune asks for a resume date within 30 days of the stop date. For a longer hold, or if you don't know your return date, call Customer Service at 312-546-7900. The subscriber terms say no credit is given for vacation interruptions.
The Tribune says you can cancel any time by calling 312-546-7900. If you started your subscription online, you may also be able to cancel at myaccount.chicagotribune.com. The terms say mailed cancellation letters are not accepted, you're charged for service before you cancel, and unused portions aren't refunded.
Tribune subscriptions are continuous: they renew automatically until you cancel. The terms say an introductory or promotional rate lasts for the period on the order page. After that, it renews at the full, then-current rate unless you cancel before the promotional period ends. The Tribune says it gives at least 10 days' notice of a price increase.
The subscriber terms list a home delivery surcharge of up to $0.25 per delivery day, which shortens your term. They also list Special Editions, such as the Thanksgiving Edition, which may shorten your term unless you opt out by calling Subscriber Services. Customer Service hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to noon on weekends (local time).
Wednesday & Sunday home delivery: 26 weeks for $26, just $1 a week, with free 7-day digital access.
7-Day home delivery: 13 weeks at $1.22 a week, billed $15.92, with free 7-day digital access.
